6th Release of Modern Warfare 2 Delivers Intense Violence

November11

People have been hastily queuing up to purchase the 6th release of Call of Duty by Activision. The game sells for around 44-70 GBP depending on version. Available on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, this game is known for extreme violence and brutality; hence it has been rated 18.

Call of DutyAs with most video games, it is expected that CDMW2 is going to be played by children under 18, if not observed by them whilst others play. Many people have the view that these kinds of games are not related to the violence amongst the youth today. This was seen to be one of the reasons why such games are not banned in countries that are supposed to care about children over sales tax. Then what would be the reason of having this rating on the game?

For us rats, we don’t shoot, just nibble. But I’ve noticed some humans trying to throw stuff at me or setting up devices to squash me, is that due to these type of products?
